Arts - 9th Annual Summer Concert Series - 9th Annual Summer Concert Series Music in the Heart of Victory

Music in the Heart of Victory is back on the block for two nights this summer! Come on out for great music, food and fun right outside the doorsteps of The Warren and Goddess of Glass at 44th and Penn Avenues N. 

There will be food trucks on site so be sure to bring your appetites along with your lawn chairs on two Fridays, August 8 and August 15 from 5 to 8 p.m.     

The events are free, but note that we’ll be passing the hat for musicians each night.

Here’s the music line-up for 2014:   

Friday, August 8

5 p.m.:  Richard Atkins (singer/songwriter, original music, acoustic guitars - duo) 

6 p.m.:  Michael May and Jeff Moe (jazz standards with Michael on guitar, Jeff on bass) 

7 p.m.:  Dan Hylton (singer/songwriter/guitarist - solo)

Friday, August 15 

5 p.m.:  Stealin’ Home (A little Hank Williams, Lovin’ Spoonful, Everly Brothers, more – acoustic trio)

6 p.m.:  Andrew Walesch Quartet (Sinatra, Bublé and more from “Papa’s” favorite quartet) 

7 p.m.:  Bruce Jackson & Friends (Four Northsiders play rock ‘n roll, rhythm ‘n blues, more.)
