A wonderful holiday tradition! Concert, sing-along and bake sale
By: Janet Zahn 12/01/2009
Step out of the holiday madness and into a heartwarming hour of music at Camden Music School's (CMS) Fifth Annual Holiday Concert, Sing-Along and Bake Sale on Saturday, December 12 from 4-5 p.m. at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, 3751 Sheridan.
The event features a fun holiday sing-along - the audience picks its favorites to sing - plus performances by concert pianist Jim Zieba and the Camden Community Choir, among others. The sing-along concludes with Handel's Hallelujah Chorus (bring a score if you've got one), with the added bonus of string accompanists this year!
After the concert you'll have "As much fun as you can have with your sweet tooth!" at our FUNdraising bake sale. You'll find a fabulous selection of homemade holiday goodies for sale including lefse and other yummy ethnic specialties. Local crafters are busy cookin' up some crafts for sale, too. All proceeds from the "sweet tooth" sale go to the CMS Scholarship Fund, a sponsored project of Our Neighborhood Works (www.ourneighborhoodworks.org). We ho-ho-hope to see you there!
