Camden Music School Fall Recitals, and Holiday Concert & Sing-Along, Craft and Bake Sale
One of Camden Music School’s (CMS) students, Audrey Rogness, invites you to…“Come to a recital. They’re so much fun! There’s so much energy coming from the crowd. It’s a really fun time to be in a community of music.”
The CMS 8th Annual Fall Recital Series takes place on two Saturdays, November 10 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. at CMS/Camden, and November 17 at 12:30 p.m. at CMS/Camden, and 4 p.m. at CMS/NE. (Recital times are subject to slight changes. Check the CMS website prior to attending, www.camdenmusicschool.com.)
Each recital features a wide variety of students, instruments and styles and lasts about an hour. You may hear, for example, beginning piano students, advanced guitarists, Afro-Cuban drummers, ukulele players and cellists in one recital, and a whole different set of instruments and players in the next. The recitals are free and open to the public.
There will be a reception after each recital where you’ll have the chance to congratulate the students and nosh on some sweet and savory treats. CMS teachers will be also available to answer questions you may have about music lessons.
Donations for the Camden Music School Scholarship Fund will be accepted at each event.
The scholarship fund is a sponsored project of Our Neighborhood Works, www.ourneighborhoodworks.org.
Join us for a recital and “be in a community of music.” You’ll be glad you did. For info contact 612-618-0219 or info@camdenmusicschool.com.
