North United Methodist Church hosts Hopewell Music Cooperative’s fundraiser Bach and Chocolates
10/01/2012
Hopewell Music Cooperative presents Bach and Chocolate, a fundraising event hosted by North United Methodist Church, on Friday, October 19 from 7-9 p.m.; the festivities will be held in the church’s sanctuary located at 4350 Fremont.
The event will include a concert of Bach works by current Hopewell staff and friends, and a reception with wine tasting, non-alcoholic beverages and small bites for attendees. Reception music will be performed by Hopewell students. Funds raised from the event will help Hopewell purchase music and instruments for students and go towards operational expenses. There is a suggested donation of $15 at the door.
Hopewell Music Cooperative has recently had a variety of performances throughout the city and is excited to perform at a community event that will allow community members to enjoy both fine music and food. The event is open to all ages and attendees are encouraged to wear their Sunday best.
Hopewell Music Cooperative is a non-profit organization founded in early 2012 by professional musicians from North Minneapolis and throughout the Twin Cities hoping to further bring together the community through music. North United Methodist Church is a Hopewell community partner and host site.
