While there are so many negative stories lately about North Minneapolis, those of us that live and work here know that a much different community exists in spite of all that. The Northside Arts Collective, representing over 100 artists and supporters in North Minneapolis, invites you to come discover what you have been missing. The 4th Annual Spring Art party is hosted by the Jordan Area Community Council at North Commons Park at 16th and James in partnership with the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board. Last year Spring Art Party guests were asked if being there that day had improved their perception of the Northside and while 30 percent already love it here, 60 percent affirmed our belief that art has a home in North Minneapolis!
The art, music and performances at this event represent the multi-cultural community we call home! Come see what we’re really made of! It’s art!
