By Janet Zahn
The Camden Music School spring scholarship FUNdraiser is right around the corner, so get your tickets now for The Summer Lovin’ Sing-Along Show, 7 p.m. Friday, April 26 at the Capri Theater, 2027 West Broadway.
“The smell of dark tanning lotion and freshly baled hay, long summer nights and catchy singable summertime tunes — they’re all bundled up so tight together in my mind that any one of them can transport me to summers past in an instant,” says Dan Chouinard, the show’s host.
Audience members will be instantly transported to summers past, too, as they sing hot summer hits from the ‘60s to the ‘80s with the help of Chouinard and song leaders T. Mychael Rambo, Austene Van, Prudence Johnson, Katy Hays and Gary Rue.
Tickets are on sale now at camdenmusic school.com or 612-529-2317. Prices are $25 in advance and $30 at the door with special discounts for groups of 4, 6, 8 and 10.
