Vibrant performing arts festival comes to Northside
09/01/2008
A diversity of Twin Cities' artists are converging at the historic Capri Theater, 2027 West Broadway, September 15-28 for Collide•A•Scope - a vibrant performing arts festival. Festival founders and Northside artists Corey Mills and Jeremiah Gamble see the festival as a point of intersection - celebrating art and diversity while connecting artists, audience members, organizations and businesses across geographic, racial and economic lines.
Theater for the Thirsty will perform an expanded version of it's Minnesota Fringe Festival hit The Cubicle, Kenna Sarge will present an original work fusing West African dance and film entitled Film and Dance, Spoken Word University will premier a new spoken word play by Rodney Dixon Struggling Art Speaks, Listen, and SPARK theater + dance will do a remount of it's fun-and-frolic family show The Supercilious Ways of Walter Wading.
