Camden Pet Hospital, 1405 44th, has received accreditation following a comprehensive evaluation by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). The evaluation includes a quality assessment review of the hospital’s facility, medical equipment, practice methods and pet health care management. Only 15 percent of all small animal veterinary practices in the U.S. have achieved AAHA accreditation. Have you noticed the work being done to the building at the corner of 42nd and Thomas? New property owners, Ross Lumley and Fred Rappaport, have taken on the renovation of the buildings’ façade. They have removed that old mansard roof and are repairing the beautiful brick work found under the old façade. The store fronts will all get a face lift with new windows, new exterior lighting, and new awnings. The façade improvements will be done with private funds and façade improvement grants through Victory Neighborhood Business Improvement grants.
