Mighty Stitch By Vivienne—North Minneapolis’s home for quality alterations and custom made clothing—will host a celebration in honor of their fifth year in business.
“The fifth anniversary of anything is a reason for a party,” said Mighty Stitch owner Vivienne Williamson. “There will be something for everyone and we are encouraging our past customers and neighbors to stop by to help us celebrate.”
The Mighty Stitch 5th Anniversary Celebration includes free food featuring traditional Jamaican cuisine; live reggae and jazz from Ivory Soul (Williamson’s son Angelo’s band); sale prices on merchandise; and specials from local businesses including the Warren Artist Habitat and Doorway Massage as well wares from area crafters.
The celebration is Saturday, September 9 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in the business’ back parking lot, 2144 44th Ave. N. For info contact Vivienne at 612-529-8744.
Since 2001, Mighty Stitch by Vivienne has been assisting customers with wardrobe alterations and custom made clothing needs. The business will soon expand to another location in the Midtown Global Market—a 58,000 square foot indoor public market— in the former Sears Building.
