By now, most everyone has heard that Snyder's was closing 48 stores in Minnesota in February - and one of them was the Snyder's on 42nd and Fremont. They just opened a couple years ago, filling in for the outgoing Camden Pharmacy, and now Snyder's is gone. But don't be alarmed - you can still get your prescriptions filled at VitalifeRx.
VitalifeRx is your only locally owned, full service pharmacy. They provide prescription drug (re)fills, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, dietary and herbal supplements. They also provide free delivery and mailing options. You can find them in the Camden Center, at 4203 Webber Pkwy. 612-294-1200. So stop by Mon.-Fri. 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sat. 9 a.m.-1 p.m. for all of your pharmacy needs.
Make sure to watch this column for details on the exciting expansion of VitalifeRx! They are in the process of opening a second location at the former Snyder's site.
Many of our local businesses are facing challenging times, some may choose to close, others will continue to count on the support of their neighbors to keep the doors open. As a community we need to show our loyalty to the businesses in Camden as they play a vital role in keeping our neighborhood strong and growing. So stop in at North End Hardware as you get ready for your spring clean up, have a shave and a haircut at the new h.White barber shop, or get a new look at Hair Fair. Hungry? Subway, Brickhouse Barbecue, Papa's Restaurant and Deli, Emily's, Tooties or Steamworks Coffee are just some of your local choices. Give Camden a second look when you need to shop!
