Camden pet owners now have an alternative choice for pet care during vacation and business trips. Kim Miller and Julie Sands have opened The Parrot Nannies of Minnesota Inc. in the Victory Neighborhood and in Eden Prairie. Their unique service means that pet owners can now leave their household pet(s) in the comfort and familiarity of home. “Working as a team, Julie and/or I will visit a home on a daily basis to feed, water and care for the pet(s). Most importantly, we’ll provide lots of tender loving care and personalized attention during each visit,” says Miller. The Parrot Nannies specialize in caring for parrots but also take care of dogs, cats, ferrets and bunnies. Not only do they look after household pets in pampered style, they are also happy to bring in newspapers, mail, water house plants, and turn lights on and off to give your house a “lived-in” look. Both Julie and Kim are bonded, insured and have references, and are members of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, Professional Pet Sitters of Minnesota and Minnesota Companion Bird Association. “We want every pet owner to be able to leave home with peace of mind, knowing his or her pet(s) and home are in our responsible care,” notes Miller.
