2009 12 Annual Holiday on 44th A delightful celebration
01/01/2010
It was really cold outside but folks from around the Twin Cities came to Camden’s own Annual Holiday on 44th event on December 4 to enjoy the great outdoors and the best that Camden has to offer at this chilly time of year.
It was a magical evening, and there were more folks at this year’s event than ever before. Everyone was smiling, singing, dancing and enjoying North Minneapolis along 44th Avenue. The hay wagons were filled to capacity the entire evening.
All along 44th were free events and fun food and stuff to savor - a great way to celebrate the holidays and to show the strength of Camden residents in Minnesota winters. Outside folks enjoyed fire jugglers, clowns, pony rides, and ice and wood carvers. Inside at the businesses and schools were treats and specials. Music and theater charmed folks inside and out. And crafters’ and artisans’ works got folks busy buying early gifts for the holidays. There’s nothing like celebrating the Camden Community than with Holiday on 44th!
