The 7th annual Minneapolis Bike Tour on September 16 had an absolutely perfect day for the 14 or 37 mile ride. The 37-mile course covered the entire scenic Grand Rounds Byway System, including several Minneapolis lakes, the Mississippi River and Minnehaha Creek parkways and followed Victory and Theo Wirth Parkways back to the start at Parade Field. The 14-mile course traveled the chain of lakes. All the parkways were closed to motorized traffic for the bikers’ safety.
