Camden News news

There has been a lot of bad economic news these days. In general it has been tipping to the ‘worse' news side of things. A lot more than we care to think about. The reality is that everyone is affected by the down-turn in the economy.
In fairness to you, our readers, we want to share Camden's News' situation. The Camden Community News is a non-profit organization. Our expenses are below average. We get no grants, process no golden parachute and no bailout money is waiting in the wings. Advertising revenues have been declining. We have a core of faithful advertisers, who for the most part are current with their obligations. We are always seeking and hoping to increase our ad revenue. Past neighbors, who moved out of the area, but like to stay in touch do so by subscribing to the Camden News via mail. Expanding the area we cover could have a positive effect.
The Camden Community News is a quality paper that is appreciated throughout our area. The good news is the sky is not falling. We enjoy and feel privileged to bring you information and current trends about the area we live in. A small organization like ours can always use the help of creative people to improve our connection to our readers. The support of our community is vital. We are hoping for the best possible outcome.
