Going back in time

Folks had a great time exploring our local Camden history at the Heritage Festival on September 26 at North Regional Park. Many people took advantage of the free wagon rides. Volunteer Gao Yang was splitting a log in preparation of making shingles by hand. Many demonstrations were going on during the afternoon. And 11-year-old Dylan got a chance to spin twine into a rope with the help of park worker Lue and volunteer Bob. The event was sponsored by Three Rivers Park and the Lind Bohanon Association.
