The weather outside was delightful

t was a cold, snowy night - which made it even more apropos for an evening outside at Camden's biggest celebration, Holiday on 44th, on December 3. This was the 13th year the event was held along 44th Avenue, and folks came from all over the metro area to celebrate winter with free music, entertainment, food and beverages and all-around fun for all ages.
Outside people enjoyed the fire jugglers, horse-drawn hay rides, pony rides ice carvings, wood carvings and got warmed up by roasting marshmallows. Indoors at Patrick Henry were an arts and craft show, Mexican dancers, live music and make-and-take gingerbread fun. At Loring School kids got to see carolers and magic shows. And all the businesses along the avenue had entertainment and treats. Photos by Duane Atter.
