Your community newspaper!
We can’t do it without you
The Camden Community News has been serving the seven Camden neighborhoods since 1975 and thanks to your support we’re able to bring you the positive local news about good folks, news and events in our area.
Like all newspapers around the country, the Camden Community News is subject to increasing production costs and decreasing ad revenues. In order to continue to bring you the positive news in the Camden community, we need your financial help.
The Camden News is a nonprofit, volunteer-run newspaper delivered free to all Camden homes. We keep our expenses very low (virtual office, no overhead, etc.) and although we get income from advertisers, it’s not enough to cover the ever increasing costs of printing, mailing and postage. In this day of newspaper mergers and closures, we need you more than ever to give as much as you can to keep this community newspaper thriving. If you gave $25 last year, could you give $50 today? Does your employer have a matching donation program? Sign up and double your gift to Camden News. We need your help to continue our mission to build bridges, connect neighborhoods, encourage citizen participation, promote local events, people and businesses, and provide a forum for folks who care about the quality of life here in Camden.
So show your pride in the Camden community — please give generously to keep this newspaper an important resource for all Camden residents. Your donation also helps keep folks across the country informed about the good things in our community through our website - which has been online for 10 years. Your gift is tax deductible. Mail your donation to Camden News, PO Box 11492, Minneapolis, MN 55411. Or save the footwork and stamp, and give a little more — go to www.camdenews.org and click on the PayPal donation button (you don’t need a Paypal account). And please send us your comments and suggestions!
Thanks for your support,
