Keeping warm on a cold winter's night
The Juggling J's used their expertise in fire juggling to try and keep the crowd warm (it didn't work!) at the 10th Annual Holiday on 44th celebration on December 7, and they certainly did entertain. Folks endured the freezing temperatures outside to enjoy hay rides, pony rides, Patrick Henry Marching Band, wood and ice carving, and kept warm by roasting marshmallows and eating roasted chestnuts. Indoors at the schools and businesses folks were treated to magic shows, story telling, dancing, gospel music, arts and crafts, and lots of great food. See other highlights on page 6.
