Holiday on 44th bigger and better than ever
The 9th Annual Holiday on 44th on December 1 was spectacular - stretching all the way from Humboldt to Upton Avenue. Folks enjoyed the Playmakers Storytime Theater puppet shows; Brodini Comic Magic Show; Royal Camdenaires playing ‘50s rock and roll; The Warren hosting the Workhouse Theatre’s presentation of A Christmas Carol; the Patrick Henry Band marching down the Avenue; and a host of kid’s activities like learning origami and making homemade holiday decorations and mitten jewelry. Folks also reveled in the old favorites including fire jugglers, ice carving, wood carving, storytime, carolers, hayrides, pony rides, holiday shopping at the Arts and Craft Fair, and the great treats from local establishments.
