Reconsider school lunches

My name is Gaolee Vang and l am a freshman at Patrick Henry High School. I am writing to you because l believe that all public schools should have more varieties of foods.
The food served in public schools are unfitting to taste buds. The same types of food are constantly served to the students every day. Eventually the students stop enjoying the food less than they did before. It does not benefit our health if we eat the same type of food every day. It is not that all the students get free lunch; some students have to pay in order to be able to eat school lunch. Indeed there are many students, and in cases like these, teachers and staffs need to come together to discuss about what they should and should not do with school lunches.
As far as l know, public schools have not changed the way they serve school lunches. l believe that in order for public schools to improve, they should serve a variety of cultural foods. With this, students will be able to try different kinds of cultural foods. Cultural foods are nutritious in their own way. Some may have more vegetables while others may have more proteins. Therefore, I believe public schools should have more varieties of foods.
